Mr. Yaacoby has 21 years experience in the water industry.

He began his career as a marketing director and projects manager at EMS Mekorot Projects a subsidiary of Mekorot National Water Company.

In January 2010, Mr. Yaacoby joined Mekorot as Director of the WaTech® – Entrepreneurship & Partnership Center for Water Technologies.

In 2015, Mr. Yaacoby was the Chairman of WATEC Israel 2015 Water Technology & Environment Control Exhibition & Conference in Israel.

In November 2019, Mr. Yaacoby was appointed as the Chief of Staff to the CEO of Mekorot.

Mr. Yaacoby holds a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering and an MBA from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Israel.
