Sebastien Bessenet has worked in the water industry for more than a decade, and has an extensive experience in water treatment processes from an operational as well as technology point of view. He started his career in Switzerland nearly 20 years ago as a specialist in separation technologies for industrial applications, before moving on to Veolia’s technical division in France in 2008 supporting Veolia’s industrial business units and operations worldwide with technical validations and troubleshooting. In 2015, Sebastien moved to the US to become the Senior Process Advisor on thermal processes for heavy industries, and in 2018 he was appointed Technical Director for Veolia Water Technologies in the Americas.
Sebastien Bessenet has a Master’s Degree (Diplôme d’ingénieur) in Chemical Engineering from École Nationale Supérieure des Industries Chimiques (ENSIC) in Nancy, France and a PhD in Process Engineering from Institut National Polytechnique de Lorraine – INPL – Nancy, France.
