Dana Lawson is a Senior Engineer and holds bachelor and master degrees in Civil & Environmental Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley. With 17 years of experience at Central Contra Costa Sanitary District, she’s had a broad career ranging from planning, design, and construction, to operations and maintenance in both the treatment plant and collection system.
Additionally, she began Central San’s asset management program, starting up a new, dedicated workgroup, and spending five years developing a comprehensive asset management program, facilitating participation across the agency from operations & maintenance to finance.
Most recently, Dana lateraled to oversee the Development Services Section to expand her knowledge and career at Central San as this Section includes plan review, permitting, right-of-way, property management, and construction inspection.
