Ames Mr. Schlaman is the Director of Planning and Water Resources for Black & Veatch. Over the past 18 years, he’s worked across the US on various planning and water resources projects including: stormwater/flood control projects that consider the impacts of climate change and sea level rise, integrated planning & water quality studies, and water supply and reuse/alternative water supply evaluations that promote long term water reliability and resilience.
He also advises several professional organizations across the Country on water policies and regulations. These activities include serving on the US Water Alliance’s One Water Council, acting as the Member Association Collaboration Chair for the WEF Stormwater Committee, and supporting the initiatives of the US Chamber of Commerce Business Task Force on Water Policy.
