Mr. Franks currently directs the RO/NF applications and technical support departments at Hydranautics, a global leader in membrane manufacturing.  His primary responsibilities include evaluation of new and existing RO/NF membranes, managing membrane pilot studies, technical support for the operation of membrane systems, and development of computer models for predicting and normalizing membrane systems.

Mr. Franks works to evaluate new membranes and their applications, including:

• UF, MBR, and RO integrated membrane performance studies to demonstrate the reclamation of industrial and municipal wastewater
• Nanofitration studies characterizing the selective removal of specific ions from brackish water and seawater
