Tammy is a licensed Professional Engineer specialized in Environmental Engineering. At Isle Utilities, she combines her technical experience and interpersonal skills to help water utilities navigate today’s water challenges by helping them to understand their needs, connecting them with appropriate technologies, and encouraging networking and collaboration.
Before joining Isle, she gained a breadth of experience in both the public and private sectors and worked with a variety of clients. As a consulting engineer and project manager at Brown and Caldwell, she focused on strategic capital planning, watershed management, and water quality regulations. As the operations manager for an industrial water filter manufacturer, she focused on project delivery, customer relations, and organizational efficiency.
Tammy is passionate about organizational development and motivating people to be their best selves, and acts with a genuine interest to solve client issues while having a positive impact on the world. One of her distinguished accomplishments was the establishment of Clara Vista, a 501(c)3 nonprofit she founded in 2013 to empower leaders in rural Costa Rican communities with the tools and confidence to be agents of change. Through this experience, Tammy has practiced empathetic listening, workshop facilitation, and participatory root-cause analysis.”
Qualifications
Tammy graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder with a Master of Science in Civil Engineering with a focus in Engineering for Developing Countries, and from the University of Vermont with a Bachelors of Science in Environmental Engineering and minoring in International and Community Development.
