Yuvbir Singh is Chief Executive Officer of SUEZ’s Water Technologies & Solutions, a global business that focuses on water-related challenges. Employing approximately 10,000 people and operating in over 100 countries, Water Technologies & Solutions provides innovative solutions that address water availability and quality needs, while improving customers’ productivity and meeting increasingly stringent environmental regulations. As CEO of Water Technologies & Solutions, Yuvbir is also a member of the SUEZ Performance Management Committee.
Prior to assuming his current role, Yuvbir was the Vice President of Equipment for GE Transportation, where he was responsible for the global locomotive, mining, marine, stationary and drill portfolios. After joining GE in 1995, Yuvbir held several leadership positions, including Vice President of Global Locomotive Operations, and General Manager of Engineered Systems at GE’s Water & Process Technologies [now part of the Water Technologies & Solutions business for SUEZ], where he oversaw a global team that developed and delivered an extensive range of projects, products and service offerings. Prior to that, Yuvbir held a variety of roles in different GE businesses, including Mergers and Acquisitions and Integration and GE Fanuc in Singapore, and he worked in several countries and a variety of commercial, marketing, engineering and product management roles before moving to the U.S. During his time with GE Mergers & Acquisitions, Yuvbir was instrumental in the acquisition of many of the portfolio companies that make up the current Water Technologies & Solutions business.
Yuvbir received an engineering degree in electronics from the University of Pune in India.
