2:00-3:15 – Closing Plenary: Next Generation Water Future

Alissa R. Lockett, P.E., PMP is a Director of Engineering at the San Antonio Water System (SAWS) with seventeen years of experience in the water / wastewater industry. She oversees the Vista Ridge Integration program that will deliver 50,000 acre-feet per year of water to SAWS customers to diversify and guarantee the water supply for San Antonio, the nation’s seventh largest city, past the year 2050. She previously was a Director of Operations at SAWS and was tasked with overseeing over 200 staff responsible for sewer maintenance, meter maintenance, restoration, and construction contracts. Alissa started her career as a consultant designing and managing the construction of water and wastewater treatment and conveyance facilities. She has an undergraduate degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Cornell University and an M.B.A. from the University of Texas at San Antonio.
